I’m writing to you this week from Northampton, Massachusetts, where I’m here for work and having a wonderful time discovering this charming town. Japan’s approach to waste, especially in smaller towns, reminds us that “less” isn’t just about minimalism; it’s about respect, rhythm, and responsibility. I also shared thoughts on women on boards in Japan, inspired by a recent JBDN event. From 2% to 20% in two decades it’s progress is in motion, and it’s been incredible to witness and support this shift. Representation matters, and the momentum is real.
